Australian Shepherds & Vizslas
Miska April 1994 - October 2009
Shawnric's Kedves Miska - "Miska"; flyball dog
extrordinaire; best huntress. She is Rob's first Vizsla and hunting
partner. She taught Rob all about flyball and a little of agility.
Miska was the number 1 vizsla in NAFA flyball for many many years. She
is now the retired matriarch of our family and beloved couch companion
of Rob's.
See more pictures of Miska on our Rainbow Bridge page.
XenaCH JFCoventry's Warrior Princess - "Xena" - born 1997; she is Miska's daughter. Xena finished her CKC championship with ease although she was extremely hard on her handler. She also excelled at hunting and flyball and general bed warmer. Xena's kind of pushy and generally gets what she wants! She's a sweetie!
EdeThornhill's Ede - "Ede" (Eddie) - born 1997; what can I say about Ede? He's one of a handful of wire haired vizslas in Canada. Ede loves life and all it has to offer. He's a retired flyball dog who was the well-known lovable goofball of the flyball circuit. Ede is still the Number One NAFA registered WH Vizsla. Ede has been "uncle" to our vizsla litters and our aussie litters. He is the most forgiving soul and lives to play. And under all that hair, he has a brain that actually works!
CassiCassi cat - born 1993; Cassi is a Himalayan cat but I think she's an
aussie-vizsla wannabe; we adopted Cassi from the Winnipeg Humane Society
in July, 1996. Cassi has been a warm and fuzzy addition to our family
and has been wonderfully tolerant of all our dogs and puppies. She's
getting on in years, but continues to be a loving, sweet lap warmer and
companion.
